Host a REVIVE short film screening

Thank you for your interest in screening a Revive Our Ocean short film.

We are excited to give you the possibility of bringing Revive Our Ocean short films to your community.

Stories told from experience have a unique power to convey the benefits of effective coastal marine protected areas (MPAs) – and to inspire more to be created. They spark energy, build understanding, and open doors to collaboration in science, policy, and economics. And peer-to-peer storytelling is especially powerful: we listen best to those we see ourselves in.

Each film was created for a specific audience, showcasing the transformational ripple effect of MPAs through the voices of those who experience their benefits firsthand. The Heads of State and Mayors films are designed for political leaders and policymakers, while the Fisher and Tourism films speak to local ocean-dependent businesses. Filmed across six countries — Spain, Greece, Türkiye, the United States, the Philippines, and Indonesia — the films highlight local leadership and MPA success stories that deliver economic, social, and ecological benefits.
