Founder and CEO
Kristin has worked for decades to help build conservation economies that benefit people, nature, and climate – by restoring nature rather than by depleting it.
Our Why
Revive Our Ocean is on a mission to protect 30% of our ocean by 2030, the absolute minimum that is required to safeguard its incredible ability to fuel life on Earth.
To meet the 30% target by the end of the decade, and to conserve the areas of our ocean that are most vital to protecting frontline communities and global food security, we need 190,000 new small marine protected areas in coastal regions around the globe. We also need to enhance the level of protection in existing MPAs to see the full benefits of protected areas for people, climate, and the economy.
