We’re developing a training program to build capacity and provide the tools needed for communities to create and manage their own fully protected coastal marine reserves.
The training will cover the key components of marine protected area (MPA) development, including how to establish an MPA, secure funding and resources, monitor and evaluate MPA effectiveness, manage an MPA to achieve conservation goals, and learn from case studies highlighting lessons and examples from around the world.
